Mississippi Research Consortium
The MRC aims to develop and sustain nationally competitive research programs in the state of Mississippi. This includes Mississippi’s four research universities: Jackson State University, Mississippi State University, the University of Mississippi, and the University of Southern Mississippi.
MSU Center for Entrepreneurship & Outreach
The MSU Center for Entrepreneurship and Outreach, commonly called the E-Center, empowers students to plan, launch and grow successful local and global companies based on new ideas or MSU invented technology.

MCITy is home to Hinds Community College’s Emerging Technology Training Center (ETTC). The ETTC provides leading edge technical training and support for small and emerging businesses, existing industries, and students.
