Mississippi State University Hosts Entrepreneur Training Program at MCITy

The Sen. Thad Cochran Mississippi Center for Information and Technology (MCITy) recently welcomed Mississippi State University (MSU) for an entrepreneurship training program aimed at helping innovators transform ideas into successful businesses.

Through MSU’s Startup Expedition program, aspiring entrepreneurs participated in hands-on workshops focused on developing business concepts, refining pitches, and preparing for real-world startup opportunities. The program provided practical guidance and mentorship designed to move participants from early ideas toward commercialization.

Hosting the training at MCITy highlights the center’s growing role as a regional hub for innovation and collaboration. By partnering with universities and industry leaders, MCITy continues to support workforce development, technology advancement, and entrepreneurial growth throughout Mississippi.
