Over a 50-week period, multiple MCITy partners (Hinds, ERDCWERX, Vicksburg-Warren Economic Partnership, Mississippi State University) trained 520 persons in a variety of technology-based subjects to prepare them to be the workforce of the future. The topics trained included:

- Computer-aided Design
- Occupational Safety and Health
- Entrepreneurship
- Small Business Development
- Branding and Marketing
- Licensing Government Products
MCITy’s partners trained Mississippians to compete in the marketplace. We trained those who wished to expand their skills or change professions. We trained the newest hires for our region’s largest employers. And we transferred key aspects of our technology base to tomorrow’s workforce through groups such as the students of the Vicksburg-Warren School District.
